This technique consists of delicately removing threads from fabric and bundle together the remaining threads to create this stunning and complex design.
About your piece
Our MAHAHUAL dress is the result of collaboration with a talented group of 35 master weavers from San Juan Cancuc, a Tzeltal-speaking community located in the highlands of Chiapas mountains. Our artisans sustainably handcraft each piece without the use of electricity, pesticides or chemicals.
