Woven on a waist loom, these belts have been used since pre-Hispanic times. Each piece features brocades in vibrant colors that represent nature, animals, geometric or sacred symbols. A perfect piece to wear with a dress or your favorite high-waisted jeans.

About your piece

Our belts are made in collaboration with our master artisans from Santo Tomás Jalieza, Oaxaca. A group of 22 talented women weavers, teenagers to grandmothers tell you their story through each piece.

Composition + Care

100% Cotton
Gently handwash separately in cold water with gentle soap remove the excess water before hanging to dry, avoid direct sunlight when drying

Each piece is woven on a backstrap loom, which make each piece a unique one a kind garment. Color, details and measurements will vary slightly.

Shipping + Delivery

All deliveries are made via FedEx or DHL Express and may take between 3 to 7 business days. All pieces are shipped from Mexico.

FREE shipping within Mexico is available for all orders over $1,000 MXN, for orders under $1,000 MXN the flat fee is $150 MXN. FREE shipping to North America is offered for orders over $300 USD, for orders under $300 USD the flat fee is $25 USD.

For worldwide orders, we have a flat fee of $25 USD.
