Our kaftans are inspired by the traditional 'huipil' (pronounced wee-pil) garments, which have a profound cultural meaning in Mexican traditions and represent the stories of family legacies. Each kaftan is made on a backstrap loom with complicated brocades. It takes 27 days to finish each garment

About your piece

Our UNIVERSO kaftan is made in collaboration with our master artisans from San Juan Colorado, Oaxaca. A group of 35 talented women weavers, teenagers to grandmothers tell you their story through each piece.

100% sustainably sourced Cotton

All deliveries are made via FedEx or DHL Express and may take between 3 to 7 business days. All pieces are shipped from Mexico.

FREE shipping within Mexico is available for all orders over $1,000 MXN, for orders under $1,000 MXN the flat fee is $150 MXN. FREE shipping to North America is offered for orders over $300 USD, for orders under $300 USD the flat fee is $25 USD.

For worldwide orders, we have a flat fee of $25 USD.
